Houston (SPORTSRADIO 610) - Texans defensive end and outside linebacker Jadeveon Clowney has been a no-show at the ongoing organized team activities. The team used their franchise tag to keep Clowney with them for at least one more year, although long-term contract discussions are in the works according to Texans General Manager Brian Gaine. Head Coach Bill O'Brien shared his thoughts on Clowney's absence while visiting with the media Tuesday.

"You know I have every belief and trust that JD is working on his own and getting ready for whenever he does decide to show up. [He] has played good football for us. He knows what it takes to be ready for training camp and things like that. Not saying when he's going to be here, he could be here tomorrow," O'Brien said.

"I have no idea when he's going to be here, it's up to him, but I do know that we believe in the guys that are here and we're working hard with those guys right now."
