After the Texans loss to the Indianapolis Sunday, Colts WR TY Hilton called NRG Stadium his second home.

“Like everybody says, this is my second home, but it feels good. We had some matchups that we liked and we took advantage of them. Guys stood up and played major. Fourteen (Zach Pascal), man, incredible. Ebron was Ebron. He came through and then Chester with a big third-down screen that kept the chains moving flipped the field. Everybody contributed in a major way,” Hilton said when asked how he felt about his fourth 100 yard game in the last seven against the Texans.

After putting up 199 yards on nine receptions, it’s hard to argue with his point. However, does Hilton always put up huge numbers against the Texans?

This year would point to Hilton being able to “go off” on the Texans, as he’s averaging 157 yards in two games this season. The secondary has struggled at times this year, but put a talent like Hilton against them with a QB like Andrew Luck throwing to him and that’s a recipe for a Texans defensive disaster.

In the last 5 years, the Texans have faced Hilton a total of 10 times and in those matchups he has a total of 1,057 yards and 4 touchdowns. Hilton may not be putting a lot of points up on the Texans, but he certainly does seem to feast against them from a yardage standpoint with getting an average of almost 106 yards per game in the last 10 meetings.

One thing is for sure, the Texans needs to solve their pass protections problems or it won’t just be Hilton that continues to put up those kinds of numbers on this defense.
