HOUSTON (SPORTSRADIO 610) – The Dynamo wrap up their two-match, five-day west coast road trip on Friday against LAFC.

Coming off a 4-1 loss in Seattle that eliminated the Dynamo from playoff contention, the club now looks to finishes their last three matches of the season strong.

Like in Seattle, the Dynamo will be without Romell Quioto and Alberth Elis, who are on international duty, and will also be without Ronaldo Pena, Adolfo Machado and Arturo Alvarez as the trio left for international duty of their own.

LAFC sits in third in the Western Conference table and are one of just three teams in the West to have clinched a playoffs spot.  LAFC has just as many points as second place Sporting Kansas City, but is three behind in goal differential.  With that in mind, LAFC has top two finish, and a knockout round bye in sight.

LAFC, in their expansion season nonetheless, has lost just once in their last eight matches and will be a difficult challenge for the Dynamo.  At home, LAFC has lost just once with an 8-1-6 record.  In addition to their home prowess, LAFC has 61 goals on the year, which is tied with the LA Galaxy for the most in the Western Conference and second in the league behind Toronto.

Carlos Vela is the start of the team, and has put together an impressive MLS rookie campaign, as he leads the club in goals with 11 and assists with 10.  Joining Vela with double digit goals are Adama Diomande with 11 and Diego Rossi with 10.

Listen to Friday’s match beginning with a 9:30 p.m. prematch show on CBS Sports Radio 650, 95.7 HD3 and the app.
