HOUSTON (SportsRadio 610)-

The Rockets will again be shorthanded when they take on the Golden State Warriors at Oracle Arena Thursday night.

Already without Chris Paul (right hamstring strain), the Rockets expect to be without Eric Gordon. He’s still recovering from a right knee contusion suffered on December 29 in New Orleans, an injury that forced him to sit out the Rockets win over the Memphis Grizzlies Tuesday night. Gordon is averaging 15.7 points in 32 games this season.

While Paul and Gordon will sit Thursday night, the Rockets could be getting forward James Ennis back. The team lists him as questionable after he missed the previous 10 games due to a right hamstring strain, and injury that cost him three games in October. During his first season with the Rockets, Ennis is averaging eight points in 23 games.

The Rockets enter Thursday’s game winners of 10 of their last 11, and are sitting in fourth place in the Western Conference with a 21-15 record.
