(SportsRadio 610) -- Texans long snapper Jon Weeks is making sure a group of first responders in Houston are fed well as they help fight the coronavirus.

Weeks on Tuesday provided Whataburger to firefighters around the Houston area and to medical staff at the Houston Emergency Center.

On social media, Weeks thanked the first responders for their work.

"Thank you for being there on the front lines, making the ultimate sacrifice to protect us, to make sure we are safe,” Weeks said. “We can't thank you enough. We appreciate everything that you guys are doing. We hope that you guys can enjoy lunch on the Weeks' family today. Again, thank you so much for everything."

Weeks is the longest tenured player on the Texans roster (signed in 2010).

Other Texans like quarterback Deshaun Watson and left tackle Laremy Tunsil have also made generous donations in Houston and their respective hometowns to fight the coronavirus impact.
