HOUSTON (SportsRadio 610)- Texans linebacker Bernardrick Mckinney had the reaction you'd expect following Johanthan Joseph's interception that he returned for a touchdown in the Texans 20-13 win over the Buffalo Bills Sunday at NRG Stadium.

"I was really happy, man," a relieved McKinney said. "I was really tired. I couldn't do nothing but just put my arms in the air."

Joseph's touchdown came with 1:30 left in the fourth quarter and it broke a 13-13 tie. It also helped the Texans avoid a third straight overtime.

"I was real tired, but I'm glad he made that play for us. He made a bbig play for us to win."

Nobody on the Texans roster has been in the NFL longer than the 13-year veteran, Joseph, but McKinney isn't surprised that after all these years he continues to get the job done at a high level.

"Day in, day out I look up to him," McKinney said. "He does all the right things as a leader, as an NFL player. It's crazy that he's been in the NFL for so long and still does the things the things that he do."

Joseph is in his eighth season with the Texans, and throughout his time in Houston he's played in the same secondary as Kareem Jackson who has seen Sunday's big play plenty.

"13-year vet, he's been making those plays for a long time," Jackson said. "Always happy to see him get that pick and go to the crib with it."

Joseph tied Jackson for the Texans franchise record for most interceptions, though Jackson got the lead back from his longtime teammate on the Bills next possession.

"We kinda go back and forth," Jackson said. "That means we're making some plays for the defense. There's nobody that I'd rather go back and forth with than Joe."
