HOUSTON (SportsRadio 610)- Johnathan Joseph has matched up with Tom Brady and the New England Patriots 11 times during his NFL. Lonnie Johnson Jr will face Brady and the Patriots for the first time Sunday night at NRG Stadium and Johnson says the veteran gave him a solid piece of advice for dealing with one of the best quarterbacks in NFL history.

"Don't show him I'm a rookie," Johnson said Friday.

Joseph relayed a story to reporters Wednesday where Brady accurately diagnosed a blitz when he was a rookie with Cincinnati in 2006, so 13 years later, Johnson is well aware it's going to be hard to trick the Patriots quarterback.

"He a vet. He been in the game a long time, I just can't show him I'm a rookie."

Johnson missed the Texans win over Indianapolis because of an ankle injury. He was limited in practice Wednesday and Thursday but said after practice Friday he's healthy. With Bradley Roby also likely to return Sunday from a hamstring injury, Romeo Crennell should have a full compliment of cornerbacks at his disposal.

"We have different styles, different types of players, so it's gonna be fun to watch all of us come together as one."
