Houston (SPORTSRADIO 610) - Corbin Martin's second start in Houston was not as good as his first. The rookie experienced troubles and even committed an error throwing a ball into the seats in a pickoff attempt to first base. The Astros lineup went quietly as they fell to the White Sox for the second night in a row by a final score of 4-0.

"I started to think about the outcome before it even happened, and I can't let that happen," Corbin said.

Martin made it just 3.1 innings allowing four runs on six hits and striking out just three. Just three runs were earned, including a solo home run given up to Eloy Jimenez. Astros Manager A.J. Hinch knows that it's just part of the Major League learning curve.

"It's a learning experience for him. He'll be better for it," Hinch said. "Learning game for him, which is not uncommon for a young pitcher."

The Astros lineup could not get anything going, manufacturing just four hits. They were also unable to get a runner to second base. White Sox starting pitcher Lucas Giolito handled business with a complete game shutout, striking out nine.
