Tuesday night at Staples Center, the Rockets beat the Los Angeles Lakers 105-99, but in a game that held no significance, the Rockets lost Luc Mbah a Moute with a dislocated right shoulder.

The injury took place on a second quarter one-handed dunk, and its the same shoulder he disloacted in a December 13 game that caused him to miss 15 games. The seriousness of the injury wasn't known after the game, and Mbah a Moute will undergo an MRI Wednesday.

The win improves the Rockets to 65-16 on the season with one game to play, and the Rockets 31 road victories is a franchise record.

Chris Paul led the Rockets with 22 points on 9-of-14 shooting, while James Harden added 21 and 10 assists. Gerald Green chipped in 16 points and six rebounds off the bench.

After the Rockets led 56-48 at halftime, the Lakers opened the third quarter by scoring 11 straight points, and Julius Randle's 3-point play with 7:19 left in the quarter gave the Lakers their biggest lead of the night at five, but the Rockets answered with an 11-2 run and led by seven after three quarters. They pushed the lead to as many as 16, but against the Rockets bench, the Lakers climbed back into the game, taking advantage of 10 turnovers.

Making his NBA debut, Andre Ingram connected on a 3-pointer with 51 seconds left, but Tim Quarterman made a pair of free throws to get the lead back to five, and after a Lakers turnover, Zhou Qi split a pair from the charity stripe.

Ingram scored 19 points on 6-of-8 shooting, while Josh Hart's 20 points led the Lakers. Julius Randle scored 17 points in less than 18 minutes.

The Rockets will close out the regular season Wednesday night in Sacramento before starting their playoff run over the weekend.
