You'll have to wait - Madden '19 drops on August 10, 2018 (the trial version lands Aug. 2) - but some player and team ratings have leaked out.

Aaron Rodgers, Aaron Donald, and Antonio Brown are the only three players with a 99 rating. Steve Noah, of Operation Sports, tweeted a list of the top 35 players and only two Houston Texans appear on the list.

J.J. Watt - who is coming back from a season-ending injury in his left leg against the Chiefs in week 5 - is the highest rated Texan at 96. It doesn't seem that Madden is too worried about JJ because he only dropped two points from his 2018 rating.

Rising in his Madden '19 rating is DeAndre Hopkins. Hopkins has proved over the years that he is horrible-QB proof, and now with Deshaun Watson behind center, EA Sports is predicting good things as they bumped Hopkins from 91 to 93

Sunday Night Football released the team ratings for Madden '19. The Houston Texans - rated 78 - is joined in the middle of the pack with the Carolina Panthers, Detroit Lions, and the San Francisco 49ers.

The Houston Texans will host the San Francisco 49ers for two joint practices (Aug. 15-16) before playing their preseason game on August 18.
