Chris Paul, Rajon Rondo, and Brandon Ingram were ejected after a fourth quarter in the Rockets 124-115 win over the Los Angeles Lakers Saturday night at Staples Center.

The altercation occurred with 4:13 left in the fourth quarter and the Rockets leading 109-108 after Ingram fouled James Harden going towards the rim. Ingram was issued a technical foul for shoving Harden in the back after which Paul and Rondo went nose-to-nose. Paul can be seen wiping his face after Rondo reportedly spit in his face and then pointing his finger in Rondo's face at which point Rondo and Paul exchange punches. Ingram then sprinted over from the other end of the floor and started throwing punches as well.

When the dust settled, Paul and Rondo were ejected from the game, while Ingram was assessed a second technical foul. Suspensions are expected for all three.

Harden made both technical free throws and then made one more when Josh Hart fouled him on a 3-point try, and after Kyle Kuzma and Clint Capela traded dunks, LeBron James drained two free throws to make the score 114-112. Then, with 2:31 left, Harden found P.J. Tucker for a thee to put the Rockets up five, and Harden put the Rockets up seven when he canned a step-back with 1:12 to play.

Harden finished with 36 points and seven rebounds on 10-of-19 shooting. He attempted 15 free throwns, knocking down 11.

Before his ejection, Paul added 28 points, seven rebounds and 10 assists while Capela chipped in 19 points and 12 boards.

In his home debut as a member of the Lakers, James scored 24 points on 9-of-22 shooting.

The win improves the Rockets to 1-1 on the season and they'll be back in action Sunday when they take on the Los Angeles Clippers back at Staples Center.
