HOUSTON, Texas, OCT. 19, 2018 (ENTERCOM) - It's been over a year since the Houston area felt the devastating force of hurricane Harvey and families are still working towards recovery. On August 24th and 25th, Entercom Houston, in partnership with Rebuilding Together Houston, volunteered in a two-day rebuilding project of five homes in Independence Heights, a suburb of Houston.

In continued support, Conn's Cares, the charitable program for Conn's HomePlus, donated, delivered, and installed nearly $18,000 in home furnishings and appliances for three of those families. Since hurricane Harvey, Conn's Cares has given $500,000 in the last year to those affected by the storm.

"Conn's HomePlus believes in giving back, and the Conn's Cares program provides us with the opportunity to further connect with the communities we serve," said Norm Miller, CEO of Conn's HomePlus. "Houston has shown great strength and resilience following Harvey and we are proud to work alongside dedicated partners like Rebuilding Together Houston."
