HOUSTON (SportsRadio 610)- According to a report from the Athletic, the Astros have agreed to trade outfielder Jake Marisnick to the New York Mets for two minor leaguers.

Marisnick, 28, batted .233 with 10 home runs and 34 RBI in 120 games last season as the Astros fourth outfielder and appeared in 14-of-18 postseason games.

Acquired in a trade from the Miami Marlins in 2014, Marisnick has played in at least 106 games for the Astros over the past five seasons, but became expendable with a $3 million arbitration projection and six other outfielders on the team's 40-man roster.

In return for Marisnick, the Astros will reportedly receieve pitcher Blake Taylor, 24, and outfielder Kenedy Corona, 19.
