REPORT: Rockets, Gary Clark Agree On 3-Year Deal

Partially guaranteed contract is worth $3.7 million

According to reports from the Houston Chronicle and the Athletic, the Rockets and forward Gary Clark have agreed on a 3-year deal, worth $3.7 million.

Clark signed with the Rockets after going undrafted in June's draft. He was then signed to a two-way contract before the start of the season. Two-way players are separate from players on a team's 15-man NBA roster, but after they spend 45 days in the NBA they must be added to the NBA roster. The Rockets waived Danuel House earlier this week, opening a roster spot for Clark who has played in 21 games this season, averaging 3.4 points in 17 minutes.

The Athletic is reporting that Clark's salary for the remainder of this season is guaranteed, and it includes a partial guarantee for next season. The final year of the deal is non-guaranteed.

With the promotion of Clark to the 15-man roster, the Chronicle and the Athletic report the Rockets will sign House to a two-way contract, so both player are effectively trading spots on the Rockets roster .
