HOUSTON (SportsRadio 610)- As NBA free agency opened at 5:00 Sunday, the Rockets were able to re-sign two of their own guys, but missed out on their biggest target as Jimmy Butler is reportedly headed to the Miami Heat.

Listen to your team news NOW.

Gerald Green and Danuel House will comeback to the Rockets next season, after Green agreed to a 1-year minimum deal with the team, while House will return on a three year, 11.1 million deal.

Green averaged 9.2 points per game in his second season with the Rockets, appearing in 73 games. The 33-year old shot 35 percent from behind the three-point line.

During his first season with the Rockets, House, 26, scored 9.4 points per game after signing with the team in November. He was waived December 4 only to be brought back on a two-way deal. He was assigned to the Rockets G League affiliate in Rio Grande Valley after he declined a three-year $4 million contract, only to be brought back in March. House started 13 games for the Rockets and the Athletic reports he may return to the Rockets starting lineup next season.

Tomball native, Butler, will join the Miami Heat on a 5-year, $190 million deal after a sign and trade with the Philadelphia 76ers. The final details of that trade are still unknown, though Josh Richardson is expected to be dealt to the Sixers in what was supposed to be a 3-team trade involving the Dallas Mavericks, but Miami reportedly wouldn't include forward Derrick Jones in the trade, so Miami and Philadelphia may be forced to find another team to help facilate the deal.
