HOUSTON (SPORTSRADIO 610) – The Texans have signed center Nick Martin to a three-year contract extension, according to multiple media reports.

Martin's deal is worth $33 million, with $18.35 million guaranteed, according to ESPN's Field Yates. It makes Martin one of the top five paid centers in the league.

Martin was second round pick out of Notre Dame in the 2016 NFL Draft.

An ankle injury held Martin out of his rookie year. Since then, Martin has played and started in 31 games for the Texans.
