Rockets To Play Warriors In Western Conference Finals

Series opens Monday night at Toyota Center

HOUSTON (SportsRadio 610)- A few hours after the Rockets finished off the Utah Jazz in five games, the Golden State Warriors did the same, beating the New Orleans Pelicans 113-104 in game five of that series, setting up a battle between the top two teams in the Western Conference, starting Monday night at Toyota Center.

The Rockets won two of three meetings in the regular season, winning in Oakland on opening night. The teams split two games at Toyota Center, played within 16 days of each other in January. James Harden and Kevin Durant missed the first, won by Golden State.

This is the third time the Rockets and Warriors will meet in the last four postseasons. The Warriors won the previous two series in five games.
