HOUSTON (SportsRadio 610)- Running back D'Onta Foreman has been added to the Texans' 53 man roster after the team activated him off their Reserve/Physically Unable To Perform list Tuesday.

The Texans triggered Foreman's 21-day practice window following their bye and had until Thursday to add him to the roster or lose the 22-year old for the remainder of the season.

As a rookie in 2017, Foreman ran for 327 yards on 78 carries with two touchdowns. The second was a 34-yard scamper in the Texans November 19 win over the Arizona Cardinals. That was his final carry of the season as he tore his achilles on the play.

The 3rd round pick out of Texas joins a backfield that's been paced by Lamar Miller and Alfred Blue through the Texans' first 12 games of the season and have averaged 202.3 yards per game on the ground the last three weeks.

To make room on the roster for Foreman the Texans waived defensive back Natrell Jamerson.
