HOUSTON (SPORTSRADIO 610) – Will Fuller caught seven touchdowns in four games with Deshaun Watson last season, and Sunday the Texans offense will see their quarterback and his best two pass catchers on the field for the first time since October 29, 2017.

Fuller missed the first three games of last season, and then Watson missed the last nine, so Fuller and Watson only played the aforementioned four games together.

Not only was the combination lethal, but the Texans’ offense was clicking to the tune of 40.5 points per game.

“That’s another weapon for us to be able to attack the defense in all types of ways. It’s a weapon that the defenses have to really worry about and just kind of focus on. So, it’s always good to have many weapons because it puts stress and pressure on their defense,” Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson said.

With Fuller back, he adds an element of speed that can take the top off a defense.

“He adds speed, he can open up the field, help me get open, keep guys focused off myself, Lamar Miller, Deshaun.  He can spread the field,” Texans all-pro wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins added.

Yes, the offense against New England didn’t look like the one we saw last year when Watson was at his best, but Fuller still has high hopes for what the Texans can do.

“We can be one of the best offensives in the leagues,” Fuller said.  “Not just me, Hop and Deshaun, but when we’re all clicking on the same page."
