Texans safety Tashaun Gipson Sr. left the Colts game early with a back injury.

He was seen leaving for the locker room and the Texans announced in the first half that his return is questionable.

Gipson had been on the team's injury list in the past couple of weeks with lingering hip and wrist injuries.

He's recorded interceptions for the Texans in the past two games.

Without Gipson, the Texans are relying on Jahleel Addai, who helped pressure Jacoby Brissett for a sack in the second quarter.

The Texans are already down a starting cornerback with Bradley Roby injured (hamstring). Cornerback Johnathan Joseph returned Sunday after missing last week's game with a hamstring injury.
