Houston (SPORTSRADIO 610) - The Texans selected tight end Kahale Warring from San Diego State with their third round pick to finish day two of the NFL draft. Warring played just one season of football in high school, but played water polo, basketball, cross county, swimming, tennis and soccer. He had just two starts out of 12 games played in 2018, but still managed to earn all-conference honors.

"Best available," Texans General Manager Brian Gaine said. "A ton of upside here. A youthful football player as it relates to his football experience, but a lot of upside."
