Houston (SPORTSRADIO 610) -  Indianapolis Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton was targeted six times in their 20-17 loss to the Texans Thursday night in Houston.

He made just three receptions for 18 yards and dropped an important pass that would have continued a Colts offensive drive deep into Texans territory in the fourth quarter.

Despite missing the last three games with a calf injury, he did not allow it to be an excuse for himself.

“I got to make that. That’s what I get paid for. I got to make it. I let my team down today. One-hundred percent on me,” Hilton said.

While he took responsibility for the loss, Indianapolis Head Coach Frank Reich was pleased with his desire to play as much as he could.

“Twenty to 30 snaps would be what would be kind of the recommended snap count for him… He was feeling a little bit tight, from what I understand, so we had to be smart about it. But he was willing to go in there, I give him credit. I give him credit. He wanted to be on the field,” Reich said.
