T.Y. Torches Texans Again

Hilton calls NRG Stadium his second home

HOUSTON (SPORTSRADIO 610) – T.Y. Hilton ran wild against the Texans to the tune of nine catches for a season-high 199-yards.

“Like everybody says this is my second home, but it feels good. We had some matchups that we liked and we took advantage of them,” Hilton said after the Colts’ win.

The Colts’ twitter account also didn’t hold back calling NRG Stadium Hilton’s second home.

“Always fun visiting T.Y. Hilton’s house,” the Colts’ official twitter account tweeted following the win.

Hilton’s 199-yard performance is the second most receiving yards he’s had in a game in his career.  The highest total was a 223-yard performance in Houston in 2014.  In 14 games against Houston, Hilton has hit the 100-yard mark in seven of those games with four of those coming in Houston.

“I think him and (Andrew) Luck have great chemistry. You know, you see some of the balls he had. He didn’t have to break stride, just came out and the ball was right on him. But that’s what top receivers and great quarterbacks do. Anytime you play in this league, you’ve got to stop those guys,” Texans’ cornerback Johnathan Joseph said following the game.

The Texans haven’t been able to stop Hilton though.  In two games this season, Hilton has a total of 14 catches for 314-yards against the Texans.

“He's a great player. He's got speed. A great route runner,” Texans’ head coach Bill O’Brien said.  “He's got good hands. They line him up in all kinds of different places. He's a great player.”
