HOUSTON (SportsRadio 610) -- At least nine New England Patriots are questionable to play in Sunday night's game against the Texans due to an illness that appears to have infected a significant portion of the locker room.

According to ESPN's Field Yates, the Patriots even made the uncommon move of traveling to Houston in two separate planes -- one to accommodate the sick players and keep them away from the healthy ones.

Among the Patriots' key players listed as questionable with illness are star cornerback Stephon Gilmore, safety Patrick Chung, linebackers Jamie Collins, Kyle Van Noy and Dont'a Hightower, tight end Ryan Izzo and offensive tackle Isaiah Wynn.

Izzo and Van Noy did not participate in Friday's practice. Izzo was ruled out for Sunday night's game.

The Texans (7-4) and Patriots (10-1) match up at NRG Stadium as Houston attempts to maintain its lead in the AFC South.

New England is trying to keep the No. 1 seed in the AFC standings to ensure home field advantage throughout the playoffs.
