Report: Texans LB Dylan Cole Out For Season With Torn ACL

Cole was helped off the field of Thursday night's game with what the team called a calf injury

HOUSTON (SportsRadio 610) -- The season is over for Texans linebacker Dylan Cole, according a Houston Chronicle report stating the Texans inside linebacker suffered a torn ACL during Thursday night's win against the Indianapolis Colts.

Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reported the news Friday, citing league sources not authorized to speak publicly on the matter.

After Cole was helped off the field by trainers Thursday night, the team announced his return was questionable with a calf injury.

Cole is one of the leaders on this team, serving as a captain and key player at inside linebacker. He has 16 total tackles in 11 games played for the Texans. 

In Cole's absence, the Texans could rely on Peter Kalambayi and Tyrell Adams.

Cole is in his third season as an undrafted free agent out of Missouri State.
