The loss of draft picks -- a first-round and a second-rounder -- in each of the next two drafts is something that could catch up with the Houston Astros eventually.

Much of the attention in the 24 hours since Jeff Luhnow and A.J. Hinch were fired from the team has focused on what Houston will do to replace them.

What does this all mean for the Astros' legacy over the last few years?

Is the 2017 World Series tainted? 

Is the Astros window of excellence closing?
